Our Advocacy Process

  • Consultation

Your journey starts with a complimentary 50-minute consultation. During this call, we’ll listen to your concerns, learn more about your child’s educational history, and discuss how we can support your goals. This initial meeting allows us to determine if our services are the right fit for your needs.

  • Fees

We offer flexible pricing structures based on the level of support you may need. Services may be billed hourly or as part of a package, depending on the complexity and duration of your case. All fees and billing policies will be clearly outlined in the Letter of Engagement. Our standard rate is $150 per hour.

  • Letter of Engagement

Once you decide to move forward, we’ll provide a Letter of Engagement outlining the scope of services, terms, and expectations. This document ensures clarity for all parties and serves as the foundation of our professional relationship. Once this letter is signed we can begin our partnership.

  • Records Review

After the agreement is in place, we’ll conduct a thorough review of all relevant documents. This may include IEPs, evaluations, progress reports, communication logs, and other school records. This step helps us understand the full context of your child’s educational journey and identify areas of concern or opportunity.

  • Comprehensive Interview

Next, we’ll schedule an in-depth interview to better understand your child's strengths, needs, and experiences. This conversation includes family perspective, educational history, and specific concerns. We value your insights and believe they are essential to effective advocacy.

  • Working Together

With a solid understanding of your child’s needs, we’ll begin working with you—whether that means supporting you through IEP meetings, drafting communication with your school district, or advocating for appropriate services and placements. Throughout the process, we’ll maintain regular communication, provide strategic guidance, and empower you with knowledge and tools to navigate the special education system confidently and ultimately achieve a successful outcome for your child.
